Despite ending their relationship over a year ago, Andrew Garfield is still very much Emma Stone's biggest supporter. The 33-year-old gave his ex-girlfriend a standing ovation as she headed towards the Golden Globe stage after winning Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for La La Land.

The Spiderman star – who was also nominated for Best Actor in a drama for his role in Hacksaw Ridge – was spotted standing in the crowd as he clapped the actress' success. The couple parted ways towards the end of 2015 after dating for almost four years. In October of last year, Emma opened up about her former partner, telling Vogue: "[He's] someone I still love very much."

Taking centre stage, the 28-year-old actress - who plays struggling actress Mia in the movie - dedicated her first ever Golden Globe Award to the dreamers and creatives who've felt rejected. "This is a film for dreamers," she told the crowd. "For any creative person who has had a door slammed in their face, metaphorically or literally... I share this with you." The star also thanked co-star Ryan Gosling for "being the best partner a girl could ask for" and choreographer Mandy Moore for her "brilliance and patience."
