Francesca ShillcockThese film and TV stars have pretty famous parents – see what they looked like at their age…
In the world of entertainment and showbiz, many celebrities go on to have children who are keen to follow in their footsteps, so it's perhaps unsurprising that many well-known A-Listers have members of their family who are just as famous as they are.
Hollywood A-Lister Angelina Jolie is a proud mum-of-six, but it seems she also has a close bond with her parents. Her father, Jon Voight, is an actor and recipient of an Oscar, four Golden Globes and a BAFTA.
His credits include Coming Home, for which was award the Academy Award for Best Actor, Runaway Train and Enemy of the State.
Benedict Cumberbatch and Wanda Ventham
Benedict Cumberbatch rose to fame playing Detective Sherlock Holmes in the popular TV drama, but has since gone on to land huge roles in Hollywood, too. But it seems his early career was partly inspired by his parents' career, who both appeared in a number of TV shows themselves.
Benedict's mother, Wanda Ventham, is perhaps best-known for her role as Pamela Parry in beloved sitcom Only Fools and Horses. Meanwhile, his father Timothy Carlton, appeared in TV shows such as Keeping Up Appearances and A Family at War.
50 Shades of Grey actress Dakota Johnson's famous parents are Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, no less. Melanie, who was in fact the daughter of another very famous actress – Tippi Hedren – was famous for her role in Working Girl and, in later years, productions on Broadway.
Dakota's father, Don Johnson, is best known for his role in TV show Miami Vice and, more recently, the film Knives Out.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Blythe Danner
Actress, business owner and author Gwyneth Paltrow grew up with both sets of parents carving out careers in the film industry. Her father, Bruce Paltrow, who sadly died in 2002, was a TV and film director, while her mother, Blythe Danner, was an actress.
Blythe had roles in TV shows such as Huff, Will & Grace and more. She also appeared on Broadway and, in later years, the Meet the Parents film franchise.
Her mother, Goldie Hawn, is an Academy Award nominated actress who has starred in Cactus Flower, Private Benjamin and The First Wives Club – so it's no wonder Kate caught the acting bug!
Jaden Smith and Will Smith
A-Lister actors Will Smithand Jada Pinkett-Smith have two children together, Willow and Jaden, and both have gone on to make names for themselves in both music and film.
Jaden landed a lead role in The Karate Kid in 2010 aged just 12. Willow turned her hand to music rather than acting, and at the age of ten had a hit single and had become to youngest artist to sign with Jay-Z's record label Roc Nation.
Gigi Hadid and Yolanda Hadid
Supermodel and proud new mum Gigi has an extremely close bond with her own mother, Yolanda. Yolanda, who also shares Bella and Anwar Hadid with her ex-husband Mohamed Hadid, was famous for her career as a model for Eileen Ford before becoming a TV personality on popular show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
