Born with all of around one hundred strands of hair, I'm always looking at new ways to add volume to my lacklustre locks.
So when Kapello hair, a new type of hair extensions using tapes, contacted me for a review, I jumped at the chance.
When it comes to extensions, I've tried it all – weave, microbonds, glue and cold-fusion, so you can definitely call me an expert in this department.
Kapello hair, however, has by far been my best experience with extensions to date.
The first aspect is the actual fittings – in tape form, it lies very flat to the head and is completely invisible, something which has always bothered me with different kinds of extensions.
Ethically sourced, the hair itself is great quality and very easy to style, and the tapes are longlasting – two months in, not one of mine has fallen out.
Lastly, and most importantly, the tapes have caused no damage to my hair whatsoever. You have to be so careful when it comes to extensions – any added strain on the hair can cause longlasting damage, but the Kapello tapes are light and keep the hair from knotting underneath.
