Review: Lash Perfect false eyelashes

hellomagazine.com

I've tried every mascara on the market – as well as numerous false lashes (that invariably take me over an hour to apply before peeling off very soon after).

So I jumped at the chance to try out semi-permanent eyelashes extensions at Lash Perfect, a lash bar in London.

What is it?

Synthetic lashes that are individually applied to your natural lashes by a trained technician. The glue used is gentle and doesn't cause any damage to your natural lashes – something that is of utmost importance when it comes to extensions.

You can choose how big and fluttery you want to go, but I opted for the natural look, which was a half-set, rather than a full-set.

How long does it take?

The session is around an hour and a half – sounds quite scary but you are lying down and it ends up being extremely relaxing... I definitely fell asleep during my appointment.

The verdict?

Wonderful, fluttery eyelashes. Possibly the most exciting part for me was not having to apply mascara in the morning... Although for nights out, you can add mascara for a more dramatic effect – the Lash Perfect primer, mascara and make-up remover will do the trick.

They last for up to a month. Towards the end of that I needed to apply mascara as they were getting a bit sparse but the first two weeks they looked fabulous.
