London Fashion week make-up artist from MAC reveals top fashion show tricks
Teams of make-up artists have flown from New York to London to get thousands of models catwalk-ready for the Big Smoke's turn at Fashion Week.
But what exactly goes into backstage make-up preparation at fashion weeks? MAC's senior artist Pablo Rodriguez shares some statistics to give us an idea...

"M.A.C. will supports 208 shows backstage this season," said Pablo.
"For this we ordered 1,233 eyeliners and eye pencils, 576 lipsticks, 3,776 mascaras and 844 packets of lashes."
Packing for the season ahead requires lots of careful planning and an arsenal of make-up products.
But if Pablo could only pack five items for fashion week, which would they be?
"Select Cover Up, Fluidline in Blacktrack, Eye Brows in Lingering, Ruby Woo lipstick and Blot Powder.
Apart from make-up, Pablo also packed a host of other essentials. "I pack straws for models wearing bold lips and Scotch tape to pick unwanted glitter on a model's skin."
In terms of products, Pablo has one essential that works for every model. "Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Groundwork is great for contouring fair skin and highlighting dark skin… Everyone wins!"
