The 19-year-old, who is renowned for having long dark hair similar to half-sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, has opted for a sleek long bob with layers.

The emerging supermodel, who ruled the runway on the Spring 2015 catwalks, was the epitome of autumn chic for the outing in a beige overcoat which she paired with a cream jumper and black leggings.

Kendall joins a line of a celebrities who have recently chopped off their locks in favour of a bob hairstyle, with stars such as Lauren Conrad and Rita Ora choosing sleek, shorter hairstyles.

Other celebrities have chosen to go even shorter and rock a wavy bob, such as Beyoncé who unveiled her new look at a basketball game, and Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence who styled her hair into a chic updo for the Hunger Games premiere.

With models often changing their hair to be on trend, it could be that Kendall has changed her look to further her already successful modelling career.

Kendall has been taking the modelling world by storm

The young Keeping up with the Kardashians star has previously admitted that her family's reality show fame had proved a hindrance when it came to breaking into the high fashion world.

"People think this success just came to me, but it didn't," she said. "What I have has almost worked against me. I had to work even harder to get where I wanted because people didn't take me seriously as a model because of the TV show."
