Fashion meets beauty with Giambattista Valli's stunning new lipstick collection for MAC. The designer, known for his beautiful couture dresses loved by A-listers, has released a range of lipsticks inspired by the floral shades in his collections.The make-up line consists of five matte shades from pale pink to black cherry, with blush, coral and crimson in between. For those who can't resist a touch of shine, there is a Crystal Glaze Gloss called Lena.
"The biggest revolution you can do on your style is really changing the colour of your lips," said Mr Valli."You can be today like this, tonight different, tomorrow morning another thing then after lunch another one. It's like the cocktail dress – you can wear it with flats during the day to the office and then you can change the shoes like you can do with the glossy, do it more fun."
The lipsticks are housed in something new to MAC – coloured packaging. "I think it's much more comfortable to check in your bag and look right away at the colours," the designer explained."You carry two or three of them in your bag and right away you grab the one you need."
The range is available in stores until 6 August. The lipsticks are priced at £17 each, and the Lena glaze gloss is £19.
