Fashion and lifestyle blogger Marianna Hewitt has revealed how she edits her photos for her 407,000 followers in a ten-minute behind-the-scenes video. Have a selection
If you're taking a selfie, Marianna suggests taking a few photos from different angles so you can choose the snap you think is the most flattering.
Use different apps for a wider range of filters
If your Instagram filters aren't doing your photo justice, Marianna suggests using a different app such as Faded or VSCO Cam so you have more choice. She also recommends playing with the contrast on particular filters so you can achieve the look you're after.

Keep your feed consistent
All of Marianna's photos include a white border from the app PicFrame, so that no matter what the photo, it fits into her overall aesthetic.
You don't have to edit the entire photo
Marianna uses Snapseed when she posts pictures of food to brighten certain elements of the image for a prettier photo.
