MAC launches six perfumes inspired by their bestselling lipsticks

Ever wondered what your favourite MAC lipstick would smell like if it was a perfume? Well now you can, thanks to the well-known beauty brand. MAC has launched six new fragrances, which have been inspired by their bestselling lip colours - Ruby Woo, Lady Danger, Heroine, Velvet Teddy, Creme d'Nude and Candy Yum-Yum.

Aptly named Shadescents, the perfumes have been designed to capture the personality of your favourite MAC lip shades. "We have a fan base attached to certain lipstick shades," explained MAC's senior vice president and group creative director James Gager whilst noting, "It was a very different exercise in the way a fragrance is developed."

Ruby Woo will have a seductive woody-floral scent, while Candy Yum-Yum will have a mixture of sweet and fruity smells. Creme d'Nude, a light toffee shade, will have a delicate musky vibe in comparison to the vibrant Heroine, which will leave a rich woody leather-like scent.

These will no doubt be beauty lover's go-to product when it hits shelves at Harrods on November 25th, and across the UK December 1st.
