Problem Area: Cracked Heels

Solution: STARSKIN Walk of Fame Foot Mask, £2.40

Trudging around in socks and boots for days on end can leave our feet feeling a little worse for wear. And did you know wearing flat shoes is more likely to cause cracked heels too? Slip your tootsies into these serum-filled socks and not only will they soothe any swelling, they’ll fill in cracks and rehydrate sore soles in the process.

senibio

Problem Area: Red Cheeks

Solution: Bioderma Sensibio AR BB Cream, £15.10

Many rosacea sufferers find that their symptoms flare up in winter, as wind exposure is a common aggravator. If you’re prone to blotchy red cheeks or spidery veins, try this BB cream from French skincare brand Bioderma. It not only conceals redness for an instant fix, but also works over time to stop it from reappearing.

laonlip

Problem Area: Chapped Lips

Solution: Lanolips The Original 101 Ointment Multipurpose Superbalm, £10.99

Bitter winds mean that our lips are often the first things to suffer in the colder months as they don’t produce natural oils to keep them soft. The original Aussie Lanolips balm is great as it can hold up to 200x its weight in moisture. It can also be used on cuticles and dry skin patches, so it’s a great handbag multi-tasker!

body2

Problem Area: Sore Hands

Solution: The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector, £11

Cracked palms and peeling nails aren’t an attractive look and you need a heavy duty hand cream to deal with them. This one from The Body Shop is actually loved by construction workers as it gives such serious hydration! Top marks for the fun new packaging in collaboration with renowned street artist Eine too.

garnier

Problem Area: Flaky skin

Solution: Garnier Moisture Bomb Super-Hydrating Moisturiser SPF10, £7.99

Constantly transitioning from the blustery outdoors to dry, central-heated rooms diminishes skin’s natural moisture levels, fast. To counteract it, Garnier’s new day cream contains the natural anti-oxidant pomegranate that delivers an intense boost of moisture and helps revitalise dull complexions. It’s also got SPF in to protect against the winter sun.
