Recreate key London Fashion Week look
He's one of the world's greatest and best-known session stylists so we asked Sam McKnight to pick out one of his favourite hairstyles from London Fashion Week - and show us how to recreate it at home.
The look's from Jaeger London and is called the low loop, to go with what Sam describes as a 'sporty modernism' feel – an "easy, modern" style that's "fresh and glamorous with a healthy, energetic vibe," he says.
"It's a sporty pony tail with soft, but glam finish," Sam explains. Best of all, it’s a cinch to do yourself…
Apply mousse to towel-dried hair to build body and hold the style – Sam used Pantene Pro-V Volume & Body Mousse, £3.99, which, he says, also adds shine.
Gather hair into a low, loose pony tail at the nape of the neck, looping the length up and securing with a band, but leaving ends free to fan out above the band. If your ends are dry, Sam recommends working a little of Pantene’s Pro-V Aqua Light Leave-In Treatment Spray, £3.99, onto the tips.
Pull the main body hair out of the band a little to loosen it up and tease a few tendrils free around the face to achieve Sam’s signature 'done, then undone' finish.
