Kate embraces major beauty trend during New Delhi visit

The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton looked every inch a beauty icon as she and Prince William met with the Prime Minister of India, Narenda Modi, on Tuesday. The mother-of-two was as radiant as ever, turning heads with the elegant updo she chose for the occasion.

Kate was the epitome of elegance, sweeping her glossy brunette tresses into a chic low bun with a middle parting for the meeting at New Delhi's Hyderabad House.

Showing off her beauty credentials, Kate also gave a subtle nod to one of the season's biggest beauty trends when she chose to include braids and plaited detailing in the chignon, to give the look an eye-catching finish.

It wasn't just the British royal's beauty look which dazzled royal enthusiasts. Kate once again wowed with her impeccable style, this time opting for a beautiful jade green gown by one of her favourite designers, Alice Temperley. She completed her look with a pair of nude heels and her LK Bennett 'Natalie' straw clutch bag.

Kate gave a subtle nod to the plaited hair trend - a major beauty hit this season

Earlier that morning, Kate had opted for a completely different beauty look as she and William met with a group of vulnerable young people in New Delhi, learning about the work carried out by charity Salaam Baalak, which provides care and protection to street and working children in Delhi and the surrounding areas.

There, the stylish royal opted for a laidback chic style, leaving her hair down in one of her trademark blow-dries, with the two front sections pinned back for a striking finish.

The couple met with India's Prime Minister

There's no doubt that Kate has been wowing with her beauty looks during the royal tour of India and Bhutan. Prince George's mother majorly upped the beauty stakes at a Bollywood-inspired reception held at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel on her first night of the tour with William, opting for a striking chignon to complement her elegant blue Jenny Packham gown.
