All eyes were on Cheryl as she arrived for Simon Cowell's summer party on Monday night, and not just because of her chic multi-coloured Missoni outfit. The 33-year-old debuted a gorgeous new hairdo, revealing that she had dyed her tresses into a darker shade of brown.

The Fight for this Love hitmaker showed off her new hair colour by wearing her tresses down in cascading loose curls, with heaps of volume at the roots for ultimate laidback glamour.

Although recent months have seen Cheryl sticking to brunette hues, her new makeover appears to be her darkest shade to date, with the star opting for a dark chocolate brown finish. She complemented her 'do with bold eye make-up, opting for nude lips and voluminous lashes.

The star has previously opened up about picking her beauty looks for major events and red carpets, admitting that she tends to go with the flow on the day.

"I kind of wing it on the day," she told HELLO!. "It's nice to spend time with my glam team beforehand, so we all know what page we're on, but the inspiration is usually based on what I'm wearing.

"I'll choose my dress first and then decide on hair and make-up. Oh, and I always wear heels. I love a bit of height – when you're 5ft 3in, you have to."

The Girls Aloud singer was not joined by boyfriend Liam Payne as she hit Simon's glitzy bash on Monday, but the couple's relationship has been going from strength to strength. Since going public with their relationship in February, the pair have been inseparable – and close friend Simon has revealed that they are "madly in love".

"I saw them together and we had a really nice dinner. They were on good form," he told The Sun, admitting he had no clue they were dating before the news broke. "They're like two little chipmunks madly in love. Literally they were so cute."
