Kim Kardashian may have been rocking a bob in recent weeks, but the reality TV queen went for a polar opposite style on Monday. The Keeping up with the Kardashians star looked every inch a real-life Rapunzel for a photoshoot where she donned a dramatically long, wavy wig.

Kim took to Instagram to flaunt her edgy new 'do, which sees the length of the brunette locks falling just below her waist. Smouldering for the camera, the mother-of-two also showed off her enviable curves in a loose cream robe and top with criss-cross detaling. "Today," she simply captioned the snap, shared with her 79.8 million followers.
It wasn't the only glimpse of the photoshoot which she shared with fans. Kim also took to Snapchat to give them a behind-the-scene peek as she gave them another look at her eye-catching ensemble, this time also showing off her striking gold sandals.

Clearly enjoying the length of her new hair, Kim also posted a short clip in which she stood by a fan, her hair blowing in the wind and showing off the endless waves.

The style icon is no stranger to wigs – she has rocked different styles in the past, and most recently shocked her legions of fans when she admitted that her new long bob hairstyle was actually a hairpiece.

"I've been saying for SO long that I want to cut my hair," she wrote in a post on her eponymous website titled All About My New Lob: It's A Wig!. "So the day before Kylie's event for Kylie Cosmetics, I decided to achieve the look a different way: a wig!"
She added: "Everyone is saying I chopped my hair, but it's all an illusion!"
Always one to up the beauty stakes, Kim has even previously experimented with dramatic long lengths, flooring fans earlier this year when she attended husband Kanye West's New York Fashion Week show, opting for a stunning platinum blonde poker straight look.
