The stunning photo sees the actress looking as radiant as ever, beaming as she shows off her incredibly toned figure in the blue jumpsuit – just twelve months after she and husband Marco Perego welcomed their adorable sons Cy and Bowie.

"You guys, I had to share this," she excitedly wrote in the caption. "This is one of the old #guardiansofthegalaxy costumes that I wore back in 2013. After twins, I can't believe I was able to slip into this."

The Avatar actress also had a message of encouragement for new mums working to stay in shape. "It pays off to work hard!" she added. "I mean it mommies of the world, if I did it you can too."

It's no doubt set to be a busy few months for Zoe, as work for the second instalment of the Marvel film kicks off. Despite sharing a photo of the costume, she was quick to reveal that it wasn't going to include spoilers of things to come.

"@marvel and @jamesgunn don't be mad," she asked in the caption. "I'm not showing anything that hasn't been seen before… besides, aren't we designing new stuff?...."

It's not the first time the Star Trek star has spoken about her fitness routine since becoming a mother. Earlier this year Zoe opened up to HELLO! Online at Verizon's Go90 launch party in Beverly Hills about working on her body after giving birth.

"I feel bad for those women that get super desperate and want to bounce back three months after having a baby," she shared. "And it's more like breastfeed, stay home, sleep. Your kid is only three months old. Like what are you going to the gym for?

"I definitely took a break, and I trusted that my body was going to bounce back when it was ready," she stressed. "I never wanted to push myself."

She added: "I've witnessed, throughout the years that I've been in this business, women that hide in a cave and they don't come out until they're a size zero. And that is a very misleading message to send out to women, especially when women here in Los Angeles are the skinniest women out there.
