Beyoncé is no stranger to experimenting with glamorous and bold beauty looks both on and off the red carpet, and it seems that her adorable daughter Blue Ivy is set to follow in her superstar mother's footsteps. The little girl melted hearts in a recent photo shared by her mum on Instagram, in which she is playing with different products.

In the adorable snap, Blue Ivy seems completely oblivious to the camera as she sits in a pink sequinned dress having fun applying a pink lipstick, after having already tried her hand at eyeliner and stick-on jewels for an eye-catching look.

It seems that the four-year-old joined Beyoncé when the singer was filming her cameo in the music video for Coldplay's hit Hymn for the Weekend, in which she also sings. As well as the candid snap of Blue Ivy, Beyoncé gave her 62.4 million followers a sneak peek behind-the-scenes as she posted a series of photos of herself getting ready for the shoot, from applying a bold shade of gold lipstick to the process of getting henna tattoos.

Although Beyoncé and rapper husband Jay Z are notoriously private about their family life, the Single Ladies hitmaker delighted fans this week when she opened up about motherhood.

"Out of everything I've accomplished, my proudest moment hands down was when I gave birth to my daughter Blue," she told Garage.

Beyoncé also revealed that her biggest "hero" was her own mother Tina Knowles, who she credited for helping her to learn what it takes to succeed at motherhood.

"She has taught me about caring for others, working hard and working smart," the singer explained. "Everything I know about being a mother comes from examples she has shown. My mother has instilled confidence in my sister and me and taught us to always be grateful."
