Tamara Ecclestone shares candid breastfeeding picture of daughter Sophia

She often talks about breastfeeding her little girl until she is ready to stop. And on Friday, Tamara Ecclestone shared an intimate picture, looking every inch the doting mother whilst tending to her daughter Sophia.

"Delays delays delays and finally we are off," she captioned her latest Instagram snap. Fans were quick to praise the 32-year-old for "normalising" breastfeeding in public as she tended to her little girl, who turns three in March. One commented: "19 months strong here so nice to see you normalising it!" Another follower shared: "An unbreakable bond between a mother a child, carry on!! thanks for standing for up us breastfeeding mothers."

Speaking previously to HELLO!, Tamara revealed she hopes her social media pictures of breastfeeding her daughter will encourage other mums to do the same. "It's the most natural thing in the world that a mother can do," she explained. "I don't understand how people can have anything against it or that it should cause outrage. Why should mums be embarrassed about feeding their child in public?"

She continued: "I love that my body can nurture her in a way I find amazing. I choose to carry on breastfeeding her because my maternal instinct tells me it's right for me and Sophia. Jay is very supportive of it."

Tamara Ecclestone and husband Jay Rutland are parents to two-yea-old daughter Sophia

Last year, the British socialite confessed she has no plans to stop breastfeeding her toddler. The F1 heiress - who shares little Sophia with husband of three years Jay Rutland - told The Sun: "It's something that is so natural…When there are people walking around the streets these days in thongs and bras, I'm like, 'Really? Can anyone say anything?' I find it bizarre what people's priorities are."

Tamara, the daughter of billionaire Bernie Ecclestone, tied the knot with Jay in 2013. The couple welcomed their daughter Sophia in March 2014.
