Jonathan Rhys Meyers and partner Mara Lane share beautiful first picture of their baby son

Jonathan Rhys Meyers and his partner Mara Lane have shared a beautiful picture of their newborn baby son, Wolf. Taking to their joint Instagram account on Tuesday, Mara used Valentine's Day as the perfect opportunity to introduce their little boy with their followers. In the caption, she gushed: "Valentine's Day everyday #DaddyHelpedMeMakeThisCard in #BabyBliss #SleepyBabyBoy #AngelChild #LoveAndPeace to everyone."

The cute picture sees their gorgeous son look rather sleepy, with a sweet message beneath him which reads: "Happy Valentine's Day Mommy. I love you. Love, Wolfie." Jonathan and Mara welcomed their first baby shortly before Christmas, E! News reported earlier this year. Prior to the arrival, the Tudors star's partner confirmed the pregnancy with a series of beautiful Instagram pictures at the start of December. One image saw Mara compare her blossoming bump to Santa Claus' belly in a Christmas-themed photoshoot. She simply captioned the picture with, "#IncomingPackage best present," alongside the hashtags, #ThankYouLord and #SantaBelly.

Last year, the couple - who have been together since 2013 - sparked speculation that they have secretly got married after Mara - who is an American actress and producer - changed her name on her Instagram profile to Mara & Toco Lane Rhys Meyers. Meanwhile, the new arrival will no doubt be a welcome addition to the couple's lives. The 39-year-old actor is currently in recovery after years of battling alcohol addiction. It is thought that his partner has significantly helped the star on his journey - Jonathan had been sober for four years before suffering a relapse last year, he later apologised to fans through Mara's Instagram account.
