Rebecca Adlington cradled her tiny baby bump as she attended the Sports Personality of the Year awards on Sunday night. The 25-year-old, who announced her pregnancy in HELLO! magazine in December, looked overjoyed as she walked the red carpet in a white sparkly dress which showcased her growing baby bump. The former Olympic swimmer attended the event with her friend Joanne Jackson, who acted as a bridesmaid at her nuptials to husband Harry Needs in September. Becky and her husband Harry are expecting their first child together in June. The swimmer has revealed that she wants to work throughout her pregnancy and hopes to be able to return to work two months after the baby is born.

"I'm due on 4 June and the World Swimming Championships are in early August, so I'd love to be ready to work by then." Also attending the event was Prince Harry, who presented the Helen Rollason Award to more than 30 injured army service men and women who competed in The Invictus Games, which he organised in September.
