Cobie Smulders is a mother of two. The star her second child with her husband Taran Killam, it has been confirmed. The actress casually broke the news while promoting her two new films at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, just three weeks after giving birth.
"I'm in Sundance and I have a three-week-old baby, so I can certainly relate," Cobie told Bustle about Unexpected, a film in which she plays a pregnant teacher that forms a friendship with a high school student who is also expecting.
"It's my world at the moment, and it's just so prevalent in the world today. I'm very lucky where I have a great career and a huge support system and not every woman has that. It's an interesting film because it shows both of those sides.

Despite giving birth less than a month ago, Cobie looked fresh-faced and glowing as she made her appearance at the film festival, wearing a simple grey top and high-waisted skirt.
Cobie and her husband, Saturday Night Live star Taran Killam, only confirmed in October that they were expecting their second child together. The new arrival joins big sister Shaelyn Cado, five, who the couple welcomed in 2009.
Speaking after confirming the news, Taran revealed: "Everything's healthy and coming along well. I'm hoping my schedule lends itself to a newborn just in that I'm up all night. Hopefully that works out!"

The How I Met Your Mother star's second pregnancy coincided with filming of Unexpected, and while she admits that while they used "a lot of fake bellies" on set, Cobie revealed that one of her personal ultrasound scans is featured in the film.
The actress also drew on her personal experiences to help when filming the role.
"It was easy to pull sense memory for a lot of the stuff," she said.
