Helen Skelton and her husband, rugby player Richie Myler, have introduced their baby son in exclusive photographs published in HELLO! magazine.

The daredevil television presenter gave birth to Ernie on June 19. And, for someone who is used to living life at full speed, Helen tells HELLO! she is loving the relaxed pace of motherhood.

"I can't believe how much I love being a mum. It's the best thing I’ve ever done,"she told the magazine. "I didn’t think I would love it as much as I do. It's ten times better than I expected.

"I feel like I've been on happy pills ever since Ernie was born. When my friends with babies used to tell me how they spent their days, I couldn’t imagine liking it. But it's brill."

Helen, 32, is no stranger to extreme situations but she faced the biggest challenge of her life when she gave birth to her son.

"The midwife realized the cord was wrapped around his neck. She hit the panic button and it got a bit dramatic," Helen said.

The couple also reveal in the interview that they are moving to Perpignan in southern France in November, as rugby player Richie has signed a contract to play with the Catalans Dragons.

"This is our next adventure," says Helen. "We’re both taking French lessons. It's exciting, but also a bit weird to be moving to a different country with another language."
