Congratulations are in order for Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and his longterm girlfriend Lauren Hashian, who are reportedly expecting their first baby together. The couple, who have been together for nine years, will welcome their new arrival at the start of 2016, according to a new report published on RadarOnline."Dwayne and Lauren couldn't be more thrilled,' a source told the website. "They've been rock solid for about nine years now and felt it was time to expand their family."

The couple are yet to confirm the news, or reveal the baby's gender, although the outlet states the newborn is due in January.The 43-year-old actor is already a father to 14-year-old daughter Simone from his marriage to college sweetheart Dany Garcia. Dwayne and Dany met at the University of Miami and were married in 1997, announcing their amicable split in June 2007. Simone lives with her mum in Florida, but regularly spends time with her famous dad.Former professional wrestler Dwayne launched his successful acting career in 2001 in The Mummy Returns, and has gone on to star in films including The Scorpion King, Get Smart, The Other Guys, Race To Witch Mountain and San Andreas, as well as Fast & Furious 6, Furious 7 and will appear in the 2017 release Fast & Furious 8.

The actor, 43, is already a proud father to 14-year-old daughter Simone

He recently spoke to Esquire magazine about how his "solid" home life is the basis for his success. "We do these stories and we talk so much about the business end, the success end, but then Lauren isn't mentioned, and my daughter is mentioned," he commented. "I always like making sure we find the balance and my home life is in there, and Lauren Hashian is in there, and my daughter is in there."You gotta get the better half in there!" he added. "With all the… success that I've been lucky enough to get? That doesn't happen unless the home life is solid."
