Emily Blunt may be expecting her second child in the summer, but she isn't planning on slowing down just yet. The actress has revealed that while she treated herself to massages and pampering during her first pregnancy, she is being a little less "self-indulgent" this time around.

Opening up about her pregnancy with C magazine, Emily said: "The first pregnancy is the most self-indulgent thing in the world because you get massages and prenatal yoga and hypnotherapy DVDs. During this one I forget that I'm even pregnant. I'm hoisting my two-year-old around!"

Emily Blunt says she has been less "self-indulgent" in her second pregnancy

As well as looking after her daughter Hazel, Emily has continued to work and recently finished filming thriller The Girl on the Train. The 32-year-old admitted that while she didn't want her pregnancy to affect her work, she did decide to tell her co-star and friend Justin Theroux the news before everyone else, as their scenes together were often quite physical.

"It was actually a little more physical than I realised, which worried me a little, but I wasn't telling anyone until a little later on," she said. "I told a couple of people like Justin Theroux pretty early because he and I were doing some of the physical stuff together.

"He's my friend, and I think he knew anyway – you know how friends just have a feeling."

Emily and John Krasinski are expecting their second child in the summer

Emily confirmed the happy news that she was expecting her second child with husband John Krasinski in January. The mum-to-be recently showed off her baby bump as she supported John at the opening of his new play in New York with her pregnancy glow clear to see.

The couple have made no secret of how happy becoming parents has made them, and Emily has previously described motherhood as "the best thing ever". After welcoming her daughter in 2014, she said: "You don't know what to expect because it's just completely existentially out of anything that you've ever experience before, and it's quite indescribable."
