Paris Hilton couldn't be more excited about becoming an aunt. The 35-year-old hosted a second baby shower for her pregnant sister Nicky Hilton in New York on Wednesday, telling fans she was "so excited" to meet the newest addition to the family.

The lavish event was hosted at The Towers at the Waldorf Astoria in New York, and saw guests feast on an array of cakes and sweet treats as they celebrated Nicky's impending arrival. Paris shared a number of photos from the bash on Instagram, including a snap of the white and pink heart shaped cake that had been custom made for the occasion.

Nicky is expecting a baby girl with husband James Rothschild

Nicky's pregnancy was confirmed in January, six months after she married James Rothschild in a lavish London wedding. The couple were said to be "over the moon" at the happy news.

Paris has since revealed that the couple are expecting a baby girl, and opened up about how Nicky and James are preparing for the birth of their first child.

"They've been getting the nursery ready so I've been going to all the baby stores," Paris told Us Weekly in May. "Now that I know it's a girl, it's getting easier to buy things for her. I love all the dresses I've got her. There are so many beautiful dresses and little princess outfits. So I can't wait to see her in them."
