Alex Jones is making her TV comeback! The popular presenter of The One Show has revealed that she is returning to screens to star in Shop Well for Less. Alex, who welcomed her first child with husband Charlie Thomson in January, filmed the scenes last year before giving birth to her baby boy. It will mark her return to TV and fans are no doubt excited to see the mum-of-one later this month. "We're back soon. Filmed the series last year and it's full of really good tips and buys," Alex, 39, captioned an Instagram photo of herself and co-star Steph McGovern.

While her fans shared their excitement, and said they were missing Alex on The One Show, they were also filled with questions about her new bundle of joy. "Any baby boy name yet Alex?!" asked one fan. "How's baby doing??" wrote another. The Welsh TV star has been keeping tight-lipped about her newborn's name, but Alex has revealed some details about the birth. She wrote on Instagram: "So happy to let you know that our beautiful baby son was born on Sunday morning weighing 7lbs11 and with a full head of dark hair. Charlie and I are head over heels in love. A special thank you to the amazing midwives in the Queen Charlotte hospital for everything you did for us. We are so excited and grateful to be in the parent club."

One week later, Alex gave fans the first glimpse of her little boy. She shared a heartwarming photo of his whole hand tightly gripping her finger and wrote: "My new obsession. #soinlovewithhim." The new mum also spoke on The One Show via a phone call. Alex revealed that both she and Charlie have been in "heaven" following the arrival of their baby boy, and that she's loving every moment of motherhood.

"It's the most wonderful feeling," Alex told viewers. "He was 7lbs 11oz – a lovely weight. It was all very straightforward. Charlie was with me and mum and dad were in the waiting room." She added: "The last four days have been heaven. We're in this bubble the three of us. It's just the best time. We're a bit behind on the whole name thing because we didn't know if we were having a boy or a girl. We thought, 'When we see him we'll know what he looks like', but actually it's really hard."
