Pierre Casiraghi's wife Beatrice gave birth to their first son on 28 February.

The couple paid homage to Pierre's late father Stefano Casiraghi by naming the child Stefano Ercole Carlo. Pierre's father tragically died in 1990 as a result of a sailing accident.
