All the stars expecting in 2017

Celebrities are expanding their families and making some of the most memorable announcements. From families of three to parties of five, and those in between, here is a look at all of the Hollywood baby announcements this year...

Lin-Manuel Miranda and Vanessa Nadal

The Hamilton creator and his wife are expecting their second child. Fans took notice of Vanessa's growing bump under a floral frock dress during the couple’s appearance at the London Evening Standard Awards on December 3.

Shortly after, the Tony-winning actor took to his Twitter to confirm the exciting news after a fan asked if his wife is pregnant. “Oh hell yeah,” Lin replied. Lin and Vanessa were married in 2014 and are parents to son Sebastian. Lin noted that his three-year-old son cannot wait to be a big brother. "He is so impatient for it," Miranda shared. "Once, mid-tantrum, he cried, 'When is mommy gonna HAAAATCH...'"

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend
The cookbook author and the Grammy-winning singer are expecting their second child together. Chrissy shared the news via an Instagram post with their daughter Luna's help. The toddler was seen pointing at her belly and when asked what's inside, she replied, "Baby." 

The always-funny supermodel also captioned the post, "It's John's!" The couple have been vocal about their journey to parenthood by IVF, and the 31-year-old shared the latest update with InStyle in October saying they had one embryo left, which is a boy.

Evan Spiegel and Miranda Kerr 

Six months after tying the knot, the model and Snapchat CEO are expecting their first child together. A spokeswoman for the family told HOLA! USA: “Miranda, Evan, and Flynn are looking forward to welcoming the newest member of their family.” The Australian beauty is already a mom to six-year-old son Flynn Bloom, whom she shares with ex-husband Orlando Bloom.

Miranda and Evan, who first met at a Louis Vuitton dinner in 2014, tied the knot this past May. The supermodel previously revealed that she and her husband were waiting until after their wedding to have kids. When asked if she was trying to have more children, Miranda told the Sunday Times, “Not until after we get married. My partner is very traditional.”

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin

The Baldwin brood is growing! The couple are expecting their fourth child together. They announced the exciting news with an Instagram post on November 3. “Our Baldwinitos are getting a new teammate this spring ❤️,” Hilaria penned alongside a photo of her and Alec laying on the floor with their three kids — Carmen, four, Rafael, two, and Leonardo, 14-months.

The 59-year-old actor, who is also dad to 22-year-old Ireland Baldwin with ex Kim Basinger, reposted the same photo writing, "Here we go again..."

Eddie Redmayne and Hannah Bagshawe

A little over a year after welcoming their first child – Eddie and Hannah are going to be parents again! The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them actor and his wife announced that they are expecting baby number two.

“Eddie and Hannah Redmayne are delighted to confirm they are expecting a second child,” a statement read to People. Eddie, 35, and his wife, tied the knot in 2015, and are parents to 16-month-old Iris Mary.

Billy Joel and Alexis Roderick

The singer is expecting an uptown girl or boy! The 68-year-old singer is set to welcome his second child with wife Alexis Roderick. “We are due next month” he said in an interview with the Belfast Telegraph in October. The couple, who tied the knot in 2015, are already parents to two-year-old daughter Della Rose. Billy is also a father to 31-year-old daughter Alexa Ray Joel, whom he shares with ex-wife Christie Brinkley.

Lionel Messi and Antonella Roccuzzo

The FC Barcelona family is getting bigger! The Argentinian soccer star and his wife are expecting their third child together. Antonella made the announcement via Instagram on Mother's Day in Argentina (October 15) with the help of all her boys.

“Family of 5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ # blessed👦🏻👦🏻👦🏻,” she captioned a picture that featured Leo and their two sons touching her baby bump. Lionel, 30, and Antonella, 29, who tied the knot in June 2017, are already parents to sons Thiago, four and two-year-old Mateo.

It wasn't until November, when the family was celebrating Thiago's fifth birthday, that Antonella discretely revealed the upcoming baby's gender. In a way that could have gone unnoticed, she used the hashtag : "Daddy, mommy, Mateo and your little brother on the way." It looks like it's a boy!

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson

The Kardashian empire is growing! Khloe and her boyfriend Tristan are expecting their first child, according to multiples outlets. This will be the first child for Khloe and the second for Tristan, who welcomed a son named Prince Oliver with his ex-girlfriend in December 2016.

Khloe and the Cleveland Cavaliers player have been dating since September 2016 after being set up on a blind date. “I’m in the best relationship I’ve ever been in and it doesn’t take a ring for me to feel that way,” Khloe said in an interview with You magazine. "My boyfriend is very protective of me," she continued. "Feeling loved and validated and secure is a huge thing. Tristan is protective of my entire family, which is beautiful. And I love that everything we do is as a union. When he speaks, it's 'us' and 'we,' and that's important because it shows that you're sharing life."

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott

The youngest member of the Kardashian/Jenner clan is having a baby. According to multiple outlets, Kylie, 20, is expecting her first child with the 25-year-old Antidote rapper.

The pair, who have been dating since April 2017, are said to welcome their bundle in February – People magazine reports. A source told the outlet, “It is unexpected but completely amazing turn of events that she could not be more excited or thrilled about. Everyone is overjoyed for her. This is the happiest she’s ever been.”

TMZ reported that the beauty mogul began telling friends about her pregnancy, in September during the Day N Night festival. Kylie’s news comes after it was revealed that her big sister Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West are expecting their third child via surrogate.

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo 

Baby on board! On September 13, Victoria's Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo announced she is expecting her second child with husband Adam Levine.

The 28-year-old shared her big announcement via Instagram, uploading a mirror selfie showing off her baby bump on National Bump Day. "ROUND 2," she captioned the photograph. The news comes less than a year after Behati and the Maroon 5 frontman, welcomed their first child, daughter Dusty Rose.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian

The Kardashian clan is set to expand by one, as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will welcome a third child. According to TMZ, the couple is expecting baby number three from their surrogate at the end of January 2018.

Kim and Kanye hired a surrogate this time around due to the reality star suffering from placenta accreta, a serious medical condition which could be life threatening. “The entire family is over the moon. Kim had been looking for a surrogate for months until recently when she found the perfect candidate,” a source told People magazine.

Reportedly, the famous duo paid $45k for the surrogate with several guidelines mapped out. The woman carrying their child is, of course, prohibited from smoking, drinking or doing any drugs during the pregnancy. They also requested that she doesn’t go in hot tubs, use hair dye and eat raw fish. The source added: “They want everything to be perfect and for the baby to be extremely healthy. They don’t want any complications and Kim is providing an ideal eating regimen and diet so everyone knows what the baby is consuming before it’s born.”

The 36-year-old selfie-queen had publicly discussed the sensitive topic with her mom Kris Jenner, while on their reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. "I've come to the conclusion in my mind that I can't carry another one," Kim said candidly. "So now I want to explore surrogacy." Kim and her rapper husband were married back in May 2014. Together they already have two children: 21-month-old Saint and daughter North, 4.

Bobby Cannavale and Rose Byrne

The Hollywood stars are expecting their second child together. Rose revealed the news during an interview with Australia’s Jones magazine. “I’m a little tired but feeling good,” she said. “Everyone was very sweet on set today, and you always get a little bit more attention when you’re pregnant, which is fabulous.”

Rose and Bobby, who have been dating since 2012, are already parents to son Rocco, whom they welcomed in February 2016. Bobby is also a father to 22-year-old son Jake from his first marriage to Jenny Lumet.

Robin Thicke and April Love Geary

Robin and April will have a special arrival coming in 2018!  The model took to her Instagram to share the news that she and the Blurred Lines singer are expecting their first child together – and their little bundle has a meaningful arrival date.

“Robin and I are very excited to share with you all that we’re having a baby,” the 22-year-old wrote on Instagram next to a picture of the sonogram. “The due date is March 1st, Alan's birthday! ❤️."

Robin, who is the son of the late Growing Pains star Alan Thicke, and April have been together since 2014. Robin, 40, shares seven-year-old son Julian with his ex-wife Paula Patton.

Ximena Duque and Jay Adkins

And then there were four...plus two furry pets! The Colombian actress got her entire family involved to announce that she and Jay are expecting a baby. “So it is, now we will be 4 better said 6 🐶🐶. We are happy is a very very wanted baby,” she captioned the announcement in Spanish. "They will wonder why I wait so long to announce it and the truth is that I wanted to spend the most crucial months of pregnancy and make sure everything was okay besides being very sick, all discomfort ALL the I had but I already feel strong and with better semblante 😊😊 now I hope to enjoy every second of this beautiful blessing next to my husband @ jayadkins3 who is a wonderful being, a man who made all my dreams come true and together with my son @carabiascristan It will always be my first love and my great blessing ... Thank you Father God for allowing me this way. Kisses for all of you who have supported me and I know that now they will be very aware of my pregnancy ❤️❤️❤️."

The adorable photo showed Ximena and the American businessman holding up an outfit that had the word “mini” printed on it while her son held on to a small pair of shoes.

The couple are already parents to two pups, while Ximena, who's four months along, is also a mother to 13-year-old son Cristan Carabias from a previous relationship. The pair's impending bundle of joy will be the first child for Ximena and Jay, who tied the knot during a lavish ceremony in June 2017.

Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker

The former tennis champion announced that he and his wife are expecting their second child during a heartfelt speech at his induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

"Brook, I don't know how you juggle it all... You hear a lot of guys find it very tough to walk away from professional sports, but you are the reason my personal transition into a quasi-everyday life has been gratifying and full," he said to the Grace and Frankie star.

Andy continued, "[Our son] Hank will someday realise how lucky he is, and our daughter that's coming will also realise she has the best mother on Earth." Brooklyn and Andy, who tied the knot in 2009, welcomed their son Hank in 2015.

Jamie Lynn-Sigler and Cutter Dykstra

Jamie Lynn-Sigler is going to be a mom-of-two! The actress took to her Instagram to share the exciting news. “This is the actual pic I sent my husband this past Mother's Day while lying on the bathroom floor,” she captioned a photo of herself lounging next to five positive tests.

She added, “I had just returned from Israel, was jet lagged, and didn't believe my eyes. So had to obviously be @Clearblue 5x over sure. We are SO excited to announce the #ClearblueConfirmed arrival of another little one in just a few short months 😁👼🏼❤ #clearbluepartner."

Jamie and her husband Cutter Dykstra are already parents to son Beau, who was born in 2013.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez

Cristiano Ronaldo is going to be a father-of-four!  The soccer superstar, who welcomed twins last month, confirmed that his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez is pregnant.

During an interview with El Mundo at a celebration in Ibiza, Cristiano was asked if he was “happy” to have another child on the way, to which he replied “Yes, very much.” The athlete's newest addition will join twins Mateo and Eva and his seven-year-old son Cristiano Jr.

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren

The Fantastic Four star is expecting her third child with husband Cash Warren. The couple, who tied the knot in 2008, announced the happy news on the actress' instagram with the help of their daughters Honor, nine, and Haven, five. Jessica held a number 3 balloon, while her girls held a 1 and 2 balloon. Alongside the picture, the expectant mom, wrote, "@cash_warren and I are officially going to be outnumbered #babyonboard #herewegoagain 👶🏼🤰🏽#blessed🙏.."

Mindy Kaling

Mindy is working on a new project! Sources confirmed to E! News that the actress is expecting her first child. The A Wrinkle in Time actress’ pregnancy is reportedly “an unexpected surprise.”

While there is no word on how far along the mommy-to-be is, sources confirmed that there will not be any changes made to production of the final season of The Mindy Project.

Baby number 3! The late night host's "carpool" is set to get a little more packed as he and his wife Julia are expecting their third child together in December. James and Julia already have two children: Max, six, and Carey, two. The happy couple got married in 2012.

Nicky Hilton and James Rothschild

Baby on board! Nicky and James are expecting their second child. A rep for the couple confirmed that they will welcome a another member to the family telling HOLA! USA, “The couple are thrilled about the new addition to their family."

Nicky and James - who tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Kensington Palace back in 2015 - welcomed their first child, a girl, named Lily Grace Victoria Rothschild on July 8, 2016.

Ahead of the news, the heiress spoke to HOLA!'s sister brand HELLO! about the key to maintaining work and family, saying, “I think that is really the key, to balance it all otherwise you go insane.”

Andy Murray and Kim Sears

As the tennis star gets ready to play in Wimbledon, he has shared the exciting news that he will be a dad of two. While speaking to reporters, he said, "We're both obviously very happy and looking forward to it."

The couple, who married in 2015 have 16-month-old daughter Sophia.

Roselyn Sánchez and Eric Winter

The Devious Maids actress is expecting her second child with her husband. The couple, who tied the knot in 2008, announced the happy news on Father’s Day. Eric took to Instagram to share a photo of his and Roselyn’s five-year-old daughter Sebella sitting in front of balloons that spelled out the word baby. “What a blessed Father’s Day! @roselyn_sanchez had this photo done for me. So excited to share the news! No better gift!” Eric wrote alongside the photo. Roselyn posted a similar picture of her little girl, writing, “I’M GOING TO BE A BIG SISTER!! Happy Father’s Day daddy!” The pair welcomed their first child together in 2012.

Julia Stiles and Preston J. Cook

The Jason Bourne actress and her fiancé are expecting their first child due later this year, her rep confirmed to People magazine. Julia, 36, was spotted showing off her tiny bump during a press run in London in June. The 10 Things I Hate About You actress even posed for a photo cradling her bump next to radio host Nick Snaith of Magic FM in the UK city. Julia and Preston got engaged on Christmas Eve in 2015.

Matthew Morrison and Renee Puente

The actor is extra glee-ful these days! Matthew announced on his Instagram account that he and his wife are expecting their first child together, calling it the latest "epic adventure" in their romance. The Glee alum, who married Renee in 2014, posted a sweet video, which he captioned: "We will have a new addition to the family and I'm blown away by the unconditional love that I already possess for this child. I have such a clear vision of the Father that I want to be, but the perfection lies in the balance and teamwork that Renee and I have cultivated. Now, we simply wait with open arms...."

The couple, who tied the knot in August 2016, revealed that they are having a little boy as they shared the happy news with fans with a sweet Instagram post on Sunday. Alongside a series of pictures, the comedian wrote: "Celebrating Mother's Day with my beautiful wife. We are laughing at the fact that this time next year we will be celebrating her 1st actual Mother's Day. #Harts #Blessed."

The 37-year-old actor is already a proud father to son Hendrix, nine, and 12-year-old daughter Heaven, whom he shares with his former wife Torrei Hart.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2015, are expecting their first child together. The pair took to their respective Instagram accounts to announce the exciting news with a photo of Ian kissing his wife’s baby bump. Alongside the picture, the dad-to-be wrote, “To our friends, family, and rest of the world. In my 38 years on this earth I've never experienced anything more powerful and beautiful than this. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is going to be a father of two! The Snowden star’s rep confirmed to People that he and his wife are expecting their second child.

The pair stepped out arm-in-arm in Beverly Hills in May with actor’s wife showcasing her baby bump. The notoriously private couple welcomed their first child, a son, in August 2015.

Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian

Two days after posting a sweet Instagram photo of herself being swept up into the arms of her fiancé and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, tennis star Serena Williams took to Snapchat on April 19 to announce that she's 20 weeks pregnant with her first child.

The couple got engaged in December 2016. At the time, Serena shared that announcement on her Reddit account with a sweet poem and illustration of Alexis getting down on one knee. "I came home/ A little late/ Someone had a bag packed for me/ And a carriage awaited," she wrote. "Destination: Rome/ To escort me to my very own 'charming'/ Back to where our stars first collided."

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt

A Speidi baby is on the way! The Hills alums announced via Us Weekly that they are expecting their first child. “I have never been more excited,” the mom-to-be told the magazine. “The reality is sinking in that we are going to have a child! I’ve read every pregnancy book, and now I realise I don’t know anything.”

The pair, whose bundle of joy is due in October, revealed that they conceived their baby after only a month of trying and that it was now or never. “It might never be the perfect time, so we said, ‘Let’s move forward,’" Heidi explained. “We had all these conversations. We’re older, we have more life experience. Nothing is holding us back.”

Spencer and Heidi eloped in Mexico back in 2008. The couple had a more traditional ceremony in April 2009 in Pasadena, California.

Chris Kirkpatrick and Karly Skladany

It's gonna be a boy or girl! The *NSYNC alum and his wife Karly are expecting their first child together. The couple, who tied the knot in November 2013, confirmed the pregnancy news to People magazine.

“Karly and I are over the moon excited that we are welcoming a new addition to the family,” Chris told the publication. “We are both looking forward to becoming parents, and learning how much fun having a child will be.”

Oscar Isaac and Elvira Lind

The 38-year-old actor and his documentary director girlfriend are expecting their first child together. In March 2017, the duo were spotted walking around NYC's East Village with Elvira showing off her growing baby bump.

The Ex Machina star and the blonde beauty have worked together in 2013 on Staircase Sessions, which features acoustic performances by local musicians.

Bar Refaeli and Adi Ezra

Make way for baby number two! Bar and her husband Adi Ezra are expecting their second child, just seven months after welcoming their first. The supermodel made the announcement via Instagram, captioning a photo of her growing baby bump: “Something’s cooking.” The couple's impending bundle of joy will join big sister Liv, who was born August 31, 2016.

A month before welcoming Liv, Bar opened up about starting a big family. “I think this will be a decade of family … I come from a family of four children,” she told HELLO! Fashion Monthly. “A lot of [moms] could read this and think, ‘Yeah, try having one first.’ Hopefully, I’ll have a big family, but I’ll take it one by one.”

Casey Wilson and Davd Caspe

Baby number two on board! The Happy Endings star and her husband of two years are expecting their second child. Casey made the exciting announcement on her Bitch Sesh podcast saying, "Some big news on my end, which is that I am pregnant again,” the actress, who is in her second trimester said.

“I’m so excited. I was feeling so sick for about a month, but now I’m … not feeling great.”

The new baby will join the couple's two-year-old son Max.

Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan

The Facebook CEO shared the exciting news that he and his wife are expectingt their second child. "Priscilla and I are happy to share we're expecting another baby girl," he wrote on his personal Facebook page in part, next to throwback pictures of him and his wife when they were younger.

"After our difficult experience having Max, we weren't sure what to expect or whether we'd be able to have another child. When Priscilla and I first found out she was pregnant again, our first hope was that the child would be healthy. My next hope was that it would be a girl. I cannot think of a greater gift than having a sister and I'm so happy Max and our new child will have each other." Mark and Priscilla's new baby girl will join older sister Maxima Chan.

Lucky Blue Smith and Stormi Bree

In March 2017, red hot male model Lucky Blue Smith,18, and his girlfriend Stormi Bree – seen here on the Dolce & Gabbana runway – confirmed they are expecting their first baby together. Lucky took to his Instagram to announce the big news alongside a black and white photo of himself and Stormi, a model, actress, singer and former Miss Teen USA. "Hey guys, I just wanted to let you in on an important part of my personal life. I have some wonderful and surprising news - Stormi and I are having a baby! It's crazy to see how my life has been so blessed. I'm so happy and can't wait to experience this amazing journey!"

Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole

A picture is worth a thousand words! Cheryl officially announced her pregnancy in a photo shoot for L’Oreal and The Prince’s Trust. The image, which showed the mom-to-be cradling her baby bump, was promotion for a new campaign about self confidence called All Worth It. It was reported last fall that Cheryl is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Liam Payne. The couple began dating last year after having met on the X Factor back in 2010 when Liam competed.

Thomas Rhett Akins and Lauren Akins

The country music star and his wife are expecting two kids — but not twins! Thomas revealed that his wife is pregnant with their first biological child and that they are also adopting a child from Africa.

Sharing a picture of balloons that spelled out baby, Thomas captioned the announcement, "We are so happy to announce that we are pregnant and we are in the process of adopting a child from Africa! Safe to say life is about to get crazy!" Lauren posted the same picture on her Instagram account writing, "OH BABY! actually...BABIES! Our hearts are exploding with happiness for y'all to meet our new baby who we are bringing home from Africa soon who is also going to have a little brother or sister because, SURPRISE! there's a sweet baby in my belly too #adopting&pregnant #cominginhot2017."

Tony and Candice Romo

One, two, three, little Romos! The Dallas Cowboys quarterback and the sports reporter are expecting a child this summer. Candice made the special announcement on KTCK 96.7 FM's The Ticket.

"We will be expecting our third little Romo offspring this August."

Chace's sister and her football hottie are already parents to Hawkins and Rivers.

Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis

It's a girl! The former New York Yankees star and the Sports Illustrated model are going to be parents. Hannah opened up about the exciting new chapter that she and Derek will embark on this year.

"Now, pregnant with our first child, Derek and I are looking to the future," the 26-year-old told The Players' Tribune in February. "He already has a name in mind — he’s set on it. (We’ll see.) He’ll say when he calls me during the day: 'So, how are you and so-and-so doing?'
'That’s not the name yet, sweetie.' Whatever her name is, I know she’ll run circles around him."

Whitney Port and Tim Rosenman

The Hills alum is expecting her first child with her husband. The fashion designer announced the joyous news on her Instagram by sharing a photo of herself looking down at her growing baby bump. Alongside the picture Whitney wrote, "Oh hey! Just standing by the window in my underwear, with a BABY in my belly!!! DM me if you know what I'm supposed to do with this thing for how ever many years I'm supposed to be in charge. Check out my blog for a little letter from me & Timmy and for more behind the scenes of this crazy journey!!!! We are sooooo excited!!!!"

The parents-to-be tied the knot back in 2015. Last year Whitney opened up to HELLO! about married life saying, "It’s just better to have a partner and a best friend." She added, "Someone to really rely on and someone to just be that support system for you that’s always just going to be there – that you don’t have to worry is going to bounce one day. The Clooney's will soon be a party-of-four. The Talk's Julie Chen revealed that her friends are expecting twins this June. "Beyoncé is not the only superstar expecting twins. Congratulations are in order for George and Amal Clooney," she said. "Now, what we did find out that no one else is reporting is that the twins are due this June."

The couple, who tied the knot in a lavish 2014 Italian ceremony, have yet to comment on the pregnancy. Back in 2015, the Hollywood star was asked by CBS This Morning's Charlie Rose if he's ever considered fatherhood, which he initially answered, "Not really."

"I mean, I've thought about it, I suppose, but it hasn't been high on my list," George continued. "I’ve been asked it a lot lately, because I've gotten married and I am doing a movie with kids in it. You should see how different, how creative the way they ask me!"

"Everyone experiences pain, but sometimes you need to be uncomfortable to transform," she told Elle magazine. "Pain is not pretty, but I wasn't able to hold my daughter in my arms until I experienced the pain of childbirth.”

Despite the pain, Beyoncé told Garage magazine, "Out of everything I've accomplished, my proudest moment, hands-down, was when I gave birth to my daughter, Blue."

The Orange is the New Black actress and her movie star fiancé are expecting their first child. A source confirmed to People that the very low-key couple will welcome the baby in 2017.

The two stepped out at the Sundance Film Festival, where Ben was spotted already in daddy mode. “Ben seemed really protective and kept very close to Laura the entire night," a source told People. "He was holding on to her arm as they walked in and kept by her side during the dinner. Neither of them got up much to mingle. They definitely enjoyed dinner. I noticed she finished her plate."

Hello baby number two! The author and actor are expecting their second child. Dawn made the surprise announcement on her podcast in early January. "I am starting a new novel this week," she said during her Get It On podcast. "I'm about to turn 38 and I am pregnant. So I'll be investing in a lot of elasticated trousers and dusting off all my old vintage tents, not unlike a lot of people in January."
