Azzedine Alaia, one of the world's top designers known for dressing some of the biggest celebrities, has released a new fragrance.

His first scent, Alaia, was born from a childhood memory – "a bucket of cold water thrown against a wall of scorching chalk" – and the freshness that it evoked, but the second chapter in his perfume story-telling is anchored in another episode of his memory – a visit to the Alhambra of Granada, a magnificent building in Spain.
The 'Alaia Blanche' woman
With stone screens of indented patterns and delicate openwork marble slabs and lattices, Mr. Alaia recognized in it a striking relationship with his own world – and Alaia Blanche was born.
As for the scent? "In this new adventure," explains perfumer Marie Salamagne, "I aimed for a white, milky florality, a bit more solar, adding a powdery element, as well as the wealth of vanilla and a musky addition, in a timeless creation."
The fragrance opens with almond milk, the top note, Heliotrope makes up the heart while Vanilla absolute is the base note. It's gorgeous – we love this fragrance!
