Lauren Conrad has given fans a peek inside her home - and it is as beautiful as you might expect. However, the new mum has admitted she is not naturally an organised person, so she enlisted the help of home organisers The Home Edit to transform everything from her office to her pantry.

Sharing a photo of her office on Instagram, Lauren wrote: "I am not an organised person. Never have been. So the fact that my office looks like this is nuts!" And fans were in awe of the image, which showed two book shelves lined with uniform white boxes and files, labelled for everything from stationery to glue.

The Hills star also shared the organisational tips she had picked up from experts Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin on her official website, saying that the key is to ensure items you need on a daily basis remain visible and accessible, and keeping things you love in clear view (which in Lauren's case is balls of yarn), can add a personal touch to a room.

It wasn't only Lauren's office which has been transformed, but also her kitchen, wardrobe and bathroom cabinet, which is lined with wicker baskets organised by category, and topped with turntables filled with nail polishes in every shade.

"People tend to over-collect makeup and beauty products, so it's essential to go through your cabinets and drawers and remove the ones you don't like and won't use," one of the tips on Lauren's website read. Another tip was to separate products into different categories such as nails, hair, face and body, so they are easy to find.

The Home Edit have become a go-to among celebrities looking to transform their homes; Gwyneth Paltrow enlisted the duo to organise her children's play room, while Mindy Kaling worked with them to prepare a nursery for her baby daughter Katherine, and arrange her kitchen.
