Tom Daley has put his central London apartment on the market, saying he hopes it finds "a lovely new owner". The Olympic diver shared a link to the estate agents' listing on Twitter on Tuesday, as he confirmed that he was selling the two-bed, two-bath property for £1.1million.

"So many memories from this place. Hopefully it will find a lovely new owner," Tom tweeted, adding a heart emoji. The apartment has been described by estate agents Williams Lynch as an "excellent 2 bed 2 bath property with lots of outside space set within a prime location".

The third floor apartment is located close to London Bridge and currently has three spacious outdoor terraces with sun loungers and a hot tub. The listing says that "great thought has been applied, and particular attention paid, to the quality of bespoke carpentry in the master bedroom, and the reception room with its open plan contemporary kitchen is a beautifully planned space with ample room for entertaining and relaxing".

It's no coincidence that Tom is selling his central London home; the Olympian's husband, director Dustin Lance Black, is also selling his two-bedroom house in Los Angeles, so it's likely they are looking for a new home they can settle down in together.

The couple tied the knot in May 2017, and Dustin recently hinted that he and Tom were hoping to raise a family together during an appearance on BBC's Question Time. "I'm here from the United States of America, I didn't get to vote on Brexit, because in this country because I fell in love, because I call it home and because I hope to raise a family here, so I really do give a damn about how this country does and it seems like no one's got their eye on the ball, who's at the wheel of the ship," he said.
