Resuming work on the second round of her Circus tour didn't mean Britney Spears was going to cut down on quality time with her two sons.
The pop princess made the most of a stop off in New York to take Sean Preston, three, and two-year-old Jayden James on a sightseeing trip in the Big Apple's Central Park.
Accompanied by a bodyguard, the 27-year-old and her two favourite boys took a man-powered pedi-cab ride around the famous landmark.
And the previous evening the hands-on-mum took her little ones to see Broadway show The Little Mermaid.
Later that night Britney was back in work mode when she took to the stage in Madison Square Garden.
In the first of three shows in the outdoor venue, the Womanizer singer thrilled fans during an energetic performance with numerous costume changes.
Britney isn't the only music star mum to make the most of what's on offer locally as she takes her kids on tour. Her pal Madonna made sure to show her children the sights of Oslo when her Sticky & Sweet tour rolled into town.
The youngsters - four-year-old Mercy, David, three, eight-year-old Rocco and 13-year-old Lourdes - also visited Paris' famous Jardin des Tuileries funfair when the family were in the French capital.
