Rupert Penry-Jones - Biography

Rupert first made his mark on the stage with an award-winning Royal Shakespeare Company performance in Don Carlos. Since then he has become a familiar face on TV with roles in Cambridge Spies, North Square, and The Student Prince. More recently he has made in-roads on the big screen as Cate Blanchett's boyfriend in the 2001 film Charlotte Gray. His best-known TV role to date is the inscrutable but compassionate Adam Carter in the spy drama Spooks.
