Society's beautiful people rubbed shoulders with royalty in London on Wednesday night when the Countess of Wessex and Prince Albert of Monaco were guests of honour at a glitzy reception in aid of ChildLine and Mission Enfance.
Sophie was the epitome of elegance in a full-length black gown. Dancing On Ice contestant Tamara Beckwith echoed the royal's choice of colour to alluring effect, in a dress whose layered skirt reflected this season's ruffle trend.
The attractive socialite set the flashbulbs blazing as she arrived for the extravaganza, escorted by her gorgeous Italian squeeze Giorgio Veroni.
Once inside, the high-profile attendees - who also included shoe design maestro Jimmy Choo - were serenaded by Welsh songbird Katherine Jenkins as they sat down to a splendid supper and fundraising auction.
