The newest member of the Danish royal family, six-month-old Prince Henrik, is already adjusting well to life in the public eye.
Prince Joachim and Princess Marie's little boy has taken his first trip overseas to Hong Kong with his parents. And he seemed perfectly content in front of the cameras as they captured beautiful images of the happy family.
As those photographs show, Henrik is clearly the apple of first-time mum Marie's eye.
She and her husband – Queen Margrethe's younger son – were glowing with pride as they stood holding their child, dressed in a blue baby suit and matching booties.
At one point the 33-year-old Paris-born beauty couldn't resist giving her little prince a kiss as his dad happily looked on.
Once the trio have returned to Denmark, Henrik – who is named after his paternal grandfather – will be able to spend more time with his extended family, and in particular his half-brothers and young cousins.
Prince Joachim's two sons from his first marriage to Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg, ten-year-old Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix, seven, will no doubt be looking forward to spending more time with the adorable youngster.
And he is sure to be a big hit with Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary's two children, four-year-old Christian and Isabella, who will be three in April.
