While the recent cold weather has been causing chaos for many around the globe, it certainly proved a delight for the Obamas' pet pooch, Bo.America's 'First Dog' revelled in his chance to frolic in the snow on the White House's North Lawn on Sunday.Sniffing around and jumping through the drifts, the male Portuguese Water Dog lived up to the name of his breed, even if this water was frozen solid.A gift from the late Senator Ted Kennedy, Bo offically moved into The White House last April after President Obama promised daughters Malia and Sasha a puppy during his election campaign.He doesn't shed hair so makes the perfect pet for Malia, who suffers from allergies.And Bo was also by his master's side at a festive visit on Monday – though this time in cookie form.President Obama handed out special Bo-shaped cookies on a Christmas trip to the Boys and Girls Club in Washington, DC.He also read the young club members the seasonal story The Polar Express and asked what they all wanted for Christmas.And he even received a challenge to a game of table football from one seven-year-old."Are you a pretty good foosball player?" Mr Obama responded. "You know, I hate getting beat.""I'll let you win," the boy smiled back, before giving the President a fist bump.
