Good cheer was certainly emanating from the Dutch section of the crowd on the first day of competition at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver on Saturday.
Dressed in bright royal orange and yelling at the tops of their voices, The Netherlands' Crown Prince Willem-Alexander, Princess Maxima and their three girls, Catharina-Amalia, Ariane and Alexia, joined 4,500 of their countrymen at the 5,000m speed-skating event.
And all their cheering certainly seemed to do the trick as 23-year-old Dutch skater Sven Kramer glided home to win gold in a new Olympic record time.
The house of Orange members weren't the only royals getting behind their teams in the Canadian city.
Also in the crowd was Constantine of Greece, while Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark spent Valentine's weekend following the Danish team's exploits.
Norway's Prince Haakon was also spotted out and about, while former Olympian Princess Anne met up with multi-medal-winning rower Sir Steve Redgrave as she visited the Games.
