In this week's HELLO! magazine, issue 1115, we take you behind the scenes of a London marathon training session with a difference – as Princess Beatrice, her boyfriend Dave Clark, and Sam and Holly Branson gear up for the biggest challenge of their lives.
The high-profile pals are getting set to attempt to break a world record for the biggest linked group to run a marathon – all the while dressed as a caterpillar and raising thousands of pounds for charity – when they take part in the world-famous race on April 25.
"We didn't have to twist any arms to get people to join us in the run," explains Holly, whose entrepreneur father Richard's company Virgin is sponsoring this year's race. "We’re all strung together with cord and we must not detach anyone at any time in order to break the record."
While the team certainly possess motivation in spades, it hasn't all been plain sailing on the training front, reveals Beatrice.
“We’ve had the worst winter in years and we have had to train in snow, ice and rain, but being together has been so much fun and we have made so many friends," says the royal, who admits she had "never taken fitness seriously before" this venture, which should raise over £100,000 for their charities – one of which is Children in Crisis, the organisation her mother the Duchess of York founded 17 years ago.
"It’s fantastic to be running for them and all the other charities, especially as they are associated with young people," says the big-hearted Princess.
Also in this week's magazine, on sale from April 16, Coleen Rooney exclusively tells us how she rates this year's Oscars gowns, and Victoria Beckham reveals the one woman she'd love to dress.
Children in Crisis exists to improve the lives of children around the world affected by conflict, deprivation, poverty or other hidden crises, by working in partnership with local communities to provide education, healthcare and protection.
