No sooner is one celebration over then it's on to the next for the Danish royal family, it seems.
With all the events for Queen Margrethe's 70th birthday last week finally finished, it was time for her granddaughter Princess Isabella to celebrate her own little milestone – her third birthday.
And to make the occasion on Wednesday the royal household released these two gorgeous black-and-white images revealing how Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary's youngest has grown.
The first, taken in the grounds of Copenhagen's Fredensborg Palace by photographer Franne Voight, shows her in a dark coat and woollen hat with a cute bow.
The second, also by Voight, depicts her inside the Palace sprawled on a rug alongside older brother Prince Christian, four.
The tot celebrated her special day in the Chancellery House of the Fredensborg Palace, woken up by her parents singing Happy Birthday.
Throughout the morning she enjoyed more birthday songs and presents, while in the afternoon there was even more singing and presents, plus a party with her nursery school friends and other guests, including grandma Margrethe.
