With her arms thrown wide, a smiling Princess Victoria of Sweden welcomed visitors to the garden that was specially created as a wedding present for her and Prince Daniel.
The couple looked thrilled as they were shown around the feature, which has been named 'Path of Love' at the Djurgarden Royal Park in Stockholm.
It has been cultivated in the south part of the gardens, and is, according to the Swedish royal family's website, one of the first urban national parks in the world.
During the brief inauguration ceremony, park official Gunnar Hager quoted Daniel's words from his wedding speech: "love is the most important thing of all", during which the couple exchanged loving looks and smiles.
Victoria and Daniel arrived in a horse-drawn carriage to cut the ribbon before strolling along the trail, and admiring the wildlife.
Sweden's future Queen seemed particulary taken with a group of little ducklings they met along the way.
The couple were also presented with a cuddly panda bear as a present for their daughter Princess Estelle, who is now six months old.
