The Danish royals were the image of regal poise as they gathered to attend a concert hosted by Queen Margrethe and her husband Henrik. Princesess Mary and Marie were both glamorous consorts for their respective husbands Frederik and Joachim at the event.
Mary perfectly complemented the grand surroundings of Fredensborg Palace in her sequinned gold dress and matching jacket. Meanwhile, her sister-in-law opted for a classic black dress. The party enjoyed an evening of performances by musicians and singers from the Royal Academy of Music, who later mingled with their royals hosts at a banquet held in the Palace's plush Dome Room.
The evening's pleasantries would have been welcomed by Princess Mary, who had been involved in a minor car accident just days before. Denmark's future queen was was driving two of her children through the streets of Copenhagen when she was hit by a cyclist. The royal court said Mary had since contacted the cyclist to ask how she was doing, and to offer compensation for any damage incurred. However, it was back to business for the brunette on Tuesday as she joined her family for their musical night out.
