The Queen stepped out at the Epsom Derby on Saturday, fresh from her official three-day visit to France for the D-Day 70th anniversary commemorations.
Despite the number of engagements she had carried out in the days before the sporting event, Her Majesty showed no signs of tiredness as she strolled around the Surrey racecourse with her husband the Duke of Edinburgh.

The Queen and Prince Philip were in good company at the race. Stars including Katherine Jenkins, Clare Balding, Jodie Kidd and Laura Whitmore were in attendance as were Lord Sebastian Coe and England cricketer Stuart Broad.
Other members of the British royal family were also spotted at the event including Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, Prince Pavlos and Princess Marie Chantal of Greece and Princess Alexandra.

Having been tipped as the forerunners, Australia won the hotly-contested derby with jockey Joseph O'Brien saying: "Horses don't come any easier to ride than this. He's the best."
