Princess Stephanie and her daughter Camille Gottlieb stepped out at the circus on Friday evening. The Monegasque royal and her youngest daughter were greeted by cheers and applause as they showed their support the principality's annual event on its second day. Prince Albert's sister sported a chic black coat and simple ballet flats while her 16-year-old daughter, whose father is former palace body guard Jean Raymond Gottlieb, wore a monochrome dress with a strapless bodice, which she teamed with heeled ankle boots and a blazer.

Both mother and daughter added a pop of colour to their outfits with vibrant scarlet lipstick and wore their brunette locks up in ponytails. As the evening of entertainment dress to a close, Stephanie was gifted with flowers by some of the circus's clowns. Earlier in the week 49-year-old Stephanie attended a photocall for the 39th Monte Carlo Circus Festival.

Dressed down in jeans, boots and a fleece, the youngest of Prince Grace's three children got up close and personal with an elephant from the famous circus. An annual event, The International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo is well loved by the Grimaldi clan, who are always invited to attend the opening night.

The 10-day show was founded in 1974 by Stephanie's late father, Prince Rainier III, and features impressive feats from trapeze artists, jugglers and clowns. Stephanie is particularly in tune with her father's legacy, and took the family's passion for the circus one step further when, aged 36, she enjoyed a romantic liaison with married elephant trainer Franco Knie and moved, along with her three children, into a caravan to live the circus life.
