What should Prince William and Kate name their second child? VOTE

With Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, expecting their second child in April, speculation is mounting about what they will call the baby. While a number of names have been suggested in recent weeks, we want to know what you think they should name their newborn.

Recent reports suggest that Alice is the favourite choice for a girl, with bookmakers William Hill slashing the odds to 4/1. Meanwhile others believe that the new baby could be called Elizabeth in a nod to William's grandmother the Queen, who will celebrate her birthday on 21 April. Kate has previously revealed that her due date is mid-to-end April, so the name would prove a fitting choice if she does give birth around the Queen's special day.

Over 70 percent of William Hill customers believe that Prince George will soon have a little sister, so the names Charlotte and Victoria are also proving popular. Or could William pay tribute to his late mother by naming his first daughter Diana?

Rounding off the list of possible girls' names is Alexandra – the Queen's middle name, and a favourite choice for a girl throughout Kate's first pregnancy in 2013.

Prince George will soon have a baby brother or sister

If William and Kate do welcome another baby boy, Arthur is currently a front-runner with bookmakers – but is it your favourite name for a little Prince? Others suggest that a Prince could be called Richard or even Philip – the same as William's grandfather the Duke of Edinburgh.

Albert is also a favoured choice with bookmakers, while James completes the list of likely boys' names. James has links to both royalty, being the name of two English Kings, and also the Middleton family, as the name of Kate's younger brother.
