Prince William, Kate and Prince Harry bond with children at charity event

Prince William and his wife Kate may have left Prince George and Princess Charlotte at home, but the couple had the chance to bond with other children at a special event held on Monday morning. The couple attended The Charities Forum with William's younger brother Prince Harry.

The Forum is a group of more than 30 organisations that William, Kate and Harry work closely with, either in their capacity as patrons or supporters.

Representatives from the different charities met at the BAFTA headquarters in Piccadilly, central London where they mingled with the royals.

Some groups of children were lucky enough to meet William, Kate and Harry, who joined their young guests in an arts and crafts session. The children were tasked with making Shaun the Sheep clay models among other objects and the royals eagerly got involved, each sitting at separate tables.

The youngsters are supported by The Art Room, WellChild and EACH Hospices among other charities.

William, Kate and Harry were also treated to the premiere of the new Shaun the Sheep movie – Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer's Llamas. As the Duke and Duchess, both 33, have already watched snippets of the 30-minute film, the couple did not stay to watch the whole feature.

Kate did, however, take to the stage herself where she took part in a very special animation, acting a scene with a young child.

The trio also had a go at "Welly Wanging", which involved throwing wellies at a plastic model in the hope that it would topple. Competitive William and Kate each went for it, with the Duke proving the champion.

The event concluded with an informal meeting of The Charities Forum, where William, Kate and Harry heard from representatives of the different organisations they support.

Radiant Kate looked her naturally beautiful self for the engagement, wearing a galactic blue, black and white dress by Tabitha Webb.
