Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden may only be weeks away from her due date, but she isn't slowing down just yet. The 38-year-old cradled her growing baby bump as she attended the Global Change Awards at Stockholm's City Hall on Wednesday.

Victoria continued her run of glamorous maternity style in a midnight blue floor-length lace gown paired with court shoe heels and a gold sparkling clutch bag. She appeared in high spirits as she greeted guests before taking her seat at the awards, which were set up by H&M to recognise innovative ideas that will improve sustainability in fashion.

The mum-to-be's attendance at the awards show came just a week after she stepped out for an official dinner hosted at Sweden's Royal Palace alongside her heavily pregnant sister-in-law Princess Sofia. Neither Victoria nor Sofia have allowed their pregnancies to disrupt their royal duties, and have continued to carry out a number of official engagements in recent weeks.

It was announced in September that Victoria was pregnant again, with a statement released by the Swedish Royal Household confirming that the princess will welcome her second child with Prince Daniel in March.

Victoria's second child is due in March

"Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel are happy to announce that The Crown Princess is expecting their second child," the statement said. "The birth is expected to take place in March of 2016."

The couple have not revealed the gender of their new arrival, and joked that their three-year-old daughter Princess Estelle "really wants" a hamster more than a baby brother or sister to play with.

Meanwhile Princess Sofia is expecting her first child with husband Prince Carl-Philip in April, and has said it "feels great" to be preparing for motherhood.
