What do you give a prince or princess, or the king or queen of Spain for that matter? The Spanish royal palace has unveiled the list of presents that King Felipe and his wife Queen Letizia received last year, including a very special gift from Queen Rania and King Abdullah.

The couple's counterparts from Jordan gave Felipe and Letizia not one but two presents – a metal rifle and a saddle, which were most likely presented to the monarchs when Rania and Abdullah visited Spain on a royal tour last November.

The gifts helped make up the impressive total of 326 items that the Spanish royal family received.

Nine ties, 63 books, raincoats, sweets and even a puzzle of Bo, the Obamas' pet dog, were among the collection.

Felipe received the most gifts, a total of 151, compared to his wife Letizia who opened 80. The couple's daughters Princess Leonor and Princess Sofia weren't forgotten; the blonde sisters received 16 presents.

Among the more quirky gifts was the complete Game of Thrones box set, sent from Pablo Iglesias, the secretary-general of political party Podemos. Queen Margrethe of Denmark also gave King Felipe commemorative coins to mark her 75th birthday, while the king was also presented with some hockey sticks.

The presidents of Portugal, Peru and Honduras all gave Letizia handbags while French President Francois Hollande gave the queen a handkerchief.

The puzzle of Bo, the Obamas' pet dog, naturally came from the US President and First Lady themselves and were meant for the young Princesses Leonor and Sofia.
