The British Museum Company are offering an extraordinary diamond crown silver toned brooch ahead of Her Majesty's big event.

Set entirely with diamonds, magnificent crowned monogram brooches were made in St. Petersburg during the reign of Catherine II, and were presented to the Empress' Maids of Honour. The design for this crown brooch is taken from the top of an original Monogram brooch.

The Royal Collection Trust is also publishing a brand new children's book in celebration of the Queen's birthday. The Birthday Crown has been written by well-known children's author Davide Cali, and tells the story of the Queen's search for the perfect crown to wear on the occasion of her birthday.

The 32-page book will be available from 12 April, priced at £9.95 from royalcollection.org.uk/shop and from Royal Collection Trust shops in London and Edinburgh, and at £12.95 from all good bookshops.
