Prince Amedeo and Princess Elisabetta announce the name of their baby daughter

The couple have since confirmed that they have named the little Archduchess and seventh-in-line to the throne Anna Astrid.

Anna Astrid and Princess Elisabetta are both doing well. 

Prince Amedeo said: "It's something new for us. We're a little nervous but it's fantastic. It's a new life that begins."

The little archduchess will be seventh-in-line to the throne. 

Prince Amedeo of Belgium and his wife Princess Elisabetta left the hospital on Friday after welcoming their first child, a baby girl.
