As Prince Harry prepares to saddle up for a number of charity polo matches this season, HELLO! spoke to the royal's friend and fellow polo player Nacho Figueras about what it's really like to play with the Prince.

Nacho, who is ranked one of the top 100 polo players in the world, said that he always has a ball of a time on the field with Harry and his brother Prince William, another keen sportsman.

"They love the sport of polo so it's always fun to be around them," Nacho told HELLO! at the 9th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. "It's always fun to help them and an honour to help them raise money, which is what they use polo for, for charities, so it's a wonderful thing."

Nacho told us that the two brothers are both great at the sport and share a love for the horses they ride. He explained: "Their grandmother [the Queen] is a big fan of horses and very passionate. Their grandfather played, their father played, they both play. They're great riders."

Last month the Argentinean took part in a fundraising match for Prince Harry's charity Sentebale, which helps children suffering with the effects of HIV and Aids in Lesotho. Nacho is also an ambassador for the African charity.

"It's something I'm very proud of," he said. "I've been to Lesotho twice and I love it. It's a wonderful thing to be able to use the sport that you love as a platform to help kids that really need it."

The friendship and bromance between Nacho and Prince Harry is evident, as the pair have faced each other on the field countless times before.

At the 2016 Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup in May, Nacho was pictured jokily trying to wrestle the winning trophy off Harry's hands. Harry's Sentebale ISPS Handa team had managed to beat the Royal Salute team, fronted by Nacho.
