After making his first official UK engagement at the Royal International Air Tattoo just last week, little Prince George has gone to work with mum and dad once again – this time to attend the Special Air Service 75th Anniversary.

The third-in-line to the throne, who will be turning three next week, visited Credenhill with Prince William and Kate to help unveil a status at the SAS Base before meeting serving and retired members of the regiment. The family spoke to veterans and enjoyed a Red Arrow display and a Spitfire flypast.

Photos were not permitted at the event

Although photographs were not permitted at the event, insider sources revealed that Prince George played with a group of children while Kate chatted to the crowd. An attendee of the event wrote on Facebook: "My children played with George. He's so handsome and Kate is stunning - something to tell the children.

"She's a fantastic down to earth mummy, she plays with him she's very hands on."

An SAS source revealed: "It was a fantastic occasion. Soldiers were not allowed to take photographs of the Royal party or the statue, which was of two troopers and an Army working dog."

Prince George attended the Royal International Air Tattoo last week

This is the little Prince's second UK engagement after taking a trip to Gloucestershire to attend the Royal International Air Tattoo last Friday. The two-year-old Prince looked simply adorable in a white polo shirt and blue shorts with matching pumps and protective head defenders during his trip, but was a little overwhelmed by the crowds and began to cry before being comforted by Kate.

However, his royal cuteness quickly cheered up when he had the chance to sit in a cockpit during his trip, asking Kate: "Mummy, can I fly the Red Arrow now?" to which Prince William replied: "Not right now."
